Space Awareness released its brand new website in 11 languages. The project offers free and high quality tools and activities for children, teenagers and educators to get inspired with sciences using the excitement of space.
Space Awareness is an international project for children and teenagers, striving to increase their enthusiasm and knowledge of science and technology using the exciting possibilities of space, and inspiring them to pursue a career in relation to space subjects. Along with its 26 partners in Europe and Africa, Space Awareness works to provide free high quality tools to engage young people in science with space.
Now Space Awareness is inviting educators and teenagers to explore its new website at www.space-awareness.org. It offers a series of complementary activities and resources to inspire children from 8 to 18 years old, primary and secondary school teachers, teacher trainers, science educators, and families. Visitors will be able to find a selection of educational resources about current and global topics, the latest stories about space discoveries and a series of online apps and games to play, learn, and participate in scientific research!
The website is available in English, French, Polish, German, Spanish, Dutch, Italian, Greek, Czech, Portuguese, and Romanian.
More content and events will be announced in 2016, such as activity kits for secondary education, space career stories and facts, a series of MOOC for educators, international and local training, live webinars with experts, and many more!
