ESA Writing Competition for Kids
17 March 2015

The European Space Agency is inviting everyone aged 12 or younger to write a creative story about the stars for their Star Competition!

The ten winners will get a brand new Stargazer Lottie doll. Lottie is the perfect companion for a budding astronomer; she comes with her very own telescope for exploring the cosmos, a list of famous female astronomers and UNAWE educational activities. The three best stories will also be posted online for everybody to read and enjoy.

The story can be about anything as long as it’s linked to the stars. For example, it can be about your favorite star, the closest star, the way stars look, constellations, be creative and anything is possible.

The deadline is the 31st of March and the story can be written in any language, so don't worry if it's not in English. Send your stories to kids@esa.int.
