Today, national websites for the six countries in the EU Universe Awareness (EU-UNAWE) Consortium went live. The new websites will complement the international website by providing information about events and resources that is country-specific and written in the country’s national language. Some of the content from the international website will also be translated and published on the national websites.
The EU-UNAWE Consortium is made up of six countries: Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, South Africa and the United Kingdom. The Consortium received funds from the European Union’s Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) to further develop Universe Awareness within their countries until the end of 2013.
You can visit the new national websites by clicking on the flags on the left-hand side of the screen. The addresses for the websites are also given below. Please contact the relevant National Project Manager (NPM) if you would like to promote an astronomy event for young children that is being held in one of the Consortium countries.
